Speedo — GPS Speedometer (“Speedo” or “the app”) is developed by Future App Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app collects and how it’s used.
Speedo uses your device’s GPS to calculate and display your current speed, both in the app and in the Dynamic Island / Lock Screen Live Activity. Location data is:
You can revoke location access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Speedo. Without location access, Speedo cannot display your speed.
Speedo is ad-supported and uses Google’s AdMob SDK to show a banner ad and occasional interstitial ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your Advertising Identifier / IDFA) to serve ads and, if you consent via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, to personalize them. We do not control or have access to the data AdMob collects — see Google’s Privacy & Terms for details.
If you decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt (“Ask App Not to Track”), Speedo continues to work exactly the same, and ads shown will not be personalized based on your activity in other apps.
Speedo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
